Pada 2026, revitalisasi diarahkan terutama bagi sekolah dengan kerusakan berat, satuan pendidikan di wilayah 3T, serta sekolah yang terdampak bencana.
Program revitalisasi juga berdampak pada masyarakat. Pada 2025, pelaksanaannya menyerap sekitar 250 ribu tenaga kerja dan pada 2026 berpotensi membuka sedikitnya 710 ribu lapangan kerja sekaligus menggerakkan ekonomi lokal.

Accelerating School Improvements Across Indonesia
As President Prabowo Subianto highlighted during the 2026 Annual Session of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR RI) and Joint Session of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) and Regional Representatives Council (DPD RI) (14/8), efforts to accelerate school improvements are continuing to provide better education facilities.
In 2026, school revitalization is focused especially on schools with severe damage, schools in 3T (frontier, outermost, and least developed) regions, and schools affected by disasters.
The revitalization program is also creating opportunities for local communities. In 2025, its implementation employed around 250,000 workers, while in 2026 it has the potential to create at least 710,000 jobs and help drive local economies.
